Adani Ports to launch dedicated Empty Container Yard at Mundra Port
Sep-04-2026

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone is planning to launch dedicated Empty Container Yard (ECY) at Mundra Port. The company is making significant investments to expand capacity across its network, with Mundra at the forefront of this growth. The company plans to add more than 6 million TEUs of container handling capacity over the next five years. Supporting this vision, the company is launching a dedicated ECY with integrated warehousing at Mundra, offering end-to-end services across the empty container lifecycle, including storage, maintenance, inspection, and seamless movement to exporters and Container Freight Stations (CFSs).

Dedicated Empty Container Yard will streamline container handling and improve service for shipping lines and customers. The initiative will strengthen Mundra’s role as a key gateway for India’s international trade and support the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) is the largest commercial ports operator in India accounting for nearly one-fourth of the cargo movement in the country.
