Ather Energy’s Rizta crosses 3 lakh sales mark within 2 years

Ather Energy has crossed the 3 lakh-unit sales mark for its family scooter, the Ather Rizta, within two years of its launch. Introduced in April 2024 as Ather’s first family scooter, the Rizta has played a key role in expanding Ather’s reach across newer markets and customer segments, becoming the company’s largest volume driver. The Rizta crossed the 2 lakh sales mark in December 2025 and added the next 1 lakh units in just five months, underlining growing demand for family electric scooters and Ather’s rapid expansion across newer markets.

The Rizta has also significantly expanded Ather’s customer base, bringing a larger share of family buyers into the EV category. Nearly 70% of Rizta customers are families with children, highlighting the scooter’s strong appeal for everyday family usage. Built with a focus on comfort and practicality, the Rizta features a large seat, spacious floorboard, and 56 litres of total storage, including 34 litres of under-seat storage and a 22-litre frunk. The scooter also integrates advanced safety and connected features such as SkidControl, theft alerts and tow alerts to enhance everyday riding confidence.
