Wipro, Bharti Airtel and Dilip Buildcon to see some action today

Wipro has signed a multi-year strategic agreement with HanesBrands Inc., a global leader in iconic apparel brands. Leveraging the Wipro Intelligence WINGS platform, Wipro expects to transform HanesBrands’ IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations with an AI-first approach. As part of this first-of-its-kind engagement, Wipro will leverage the WINGS Operations AI platform under Wipro Intelligence - a unified suite of AI-powered platforms, solutions and transformative offerings - to streamline operations, improve regulatory compliance, and enhance the overall IT experience for HanesBrands’ consumers, suppliers, and employees, ultimately leading to cost reductions in IT operations.

Bharti Airtel’s subsidiary -- Nxtra Data has entered into an agreement for acquisition of 51,92,000 (35%) equity shares in AMPIN Energy C&I Sixteen, a special purpose vehicle formed for the purpose of owning and operating the Captive Power Plant, in terms of the regulatory requirement for captive power consumption under electricity laws. The completion of the acquisition is subject to the receipt of all consents, permissions required to be obtained by AMPIN Energy C&I Sixteen from regulatory authority for open access for captive consumption of electricity.

Dilip Buildcon has been awarded the Back-to-Back Sub-Contract by the ISC Projects for Development of Barpali loading bulb at Kusara under the jurisdiction of Dy CE/Con/Jharsuguda of Chakradharpur Division, South Eastern Railway. The contract is worth Rs 307.08 crore and completion period is 24 months.

Lumax Auto Technologies (LATL) has inaugurated cutting-edge Technology Centre in Bengaluru. The facility, called the ‘Smart Hub for Innovation and Future Trends’ (SHIFT), marks a key milestone in LATL’s strategic roadmap to advance its electronics engineering and digital capabilities amid the global transition toward software-defined vehicles (SDVs). The new centre will serve as a nucleus for advanced research and product development in key areas such as in-cabin experiences, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), connectivity, and embedded electronics. It is designed to deliver next-generation solutions that aligns with the evolving needs of automotive manufacturers and end consumers.

Zydus Lifesciences has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for an inspection conducted at its manufacturing facility located at Baddi, from August 4 to August 13, 2025. The EIR has classified the facility as Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI). The USFDA has concluded this inspection as closed. 

Airfloa Rail Technology has received new order of worth Rs 3.08 crore from Modern Coach Factory situated in Uttar Pradesh. The order is for set of side wall complete for LHB type Power Car Coach from Modern Coach Factory situated in Uttar Pradesh. The order is to be executed within around 5 to 6 months.

Sharda Motor Industries (SMIL) has signed a Technology Licence Agreement (TLA) with Donghee Industries Co., Republic of Korea, for Advanced suspension products in India. Under the agreement, Donghee will transfer design drawings, process know-how and validation protocols to SMIL. SMIL will locally produce Control arms, Torsion beams and Sub-frames for Indian and Global OEM platforms. The agreement marks the strengthening of SMIL’s Suspension Portfolio, including Lightweight Engineering, Structural Integrity, and next-generation manufacturing processes.
