LIC gains on launching two new products

Life Insurance Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 903.10, up by 5.85 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 897.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 893.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 905.40 and Rs. 893.45 respectively. So far 68795 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1007.70 on 09-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 715.35 on 03-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 912.30 and Rs. 888.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 570672.92 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 96.50%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.48% and 2.02% respectively.

Life Insurance Corporation of India has launched two new products -- ‘LIC’s Jan Suraksha’ and ‘LIC’s Bima Lakshmi’. Both products will cater to Domestic market and will be available for sale with effect from October 15, 2025. The LIC’s Jan Suraksha has been launched under product category of Non-Par, Non-Linked, Individual, Savings, Life Micro Insurance Plan. The LIC’s Bima Lakshmi has been launched under product category of Non-Par, Non-Linked, Life, Individual, Savings Plan.
