Samvardhana Motherson International surges on incorporating wholly owned subsidiary

Samvardhana Motherson International is currently trading at Rs. 106.76, up by 2.11 points or 2.02% from its previous closing of Rs. 104.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 105.96 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 107.45 and Rs. 105.30 respectively. So far 1361106 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 144.74 on 27-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 71.57 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 107.45 and Rs. 95.12 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 112615.90 crore.

Samvardhana Motherson International (SAMIL) has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary (WOS), namely, Motherson Macauto Solutions (MMASL) on September 12, 2025.  MMASL will inter-alia, engage in business of designing, developing, manufacturing, assembly and servicing a wide portfolio including but not limited to door, window and roof sunshade systems, luggage cover systems, wind deflectors, etc. and all allied, ancillary, composite or substitute products for use in automotive applications.

Samvardhana Motherson International is one of the world’s leading specialized automotive component manufacturing companies for OEMs. The company, formerly known as Motherson Sumi Systems was established in 1986 as a joint venture with Sumitomo Wiring Systems.
