Asian markets traded mostly higher in early deals on Friday, kindled by the optimism over a more coordinated policy response from China after June’s producer prices posted the steepest drop in nearly two years. Rally in technological, financials, and consumer sector stocks led gains in the session. The commencement of earnings season, highlighted by strong performance from companies like Delta Air Lines also boosted investor sentiments. Hang Seng soared the most Asian indices, rising near a two week high rate. Market sentiments improved with the signs of economic recovery in China, coupled with government support measures .

Nikkei 225 up by 25.92 points or 0.07% to 39,672.28, Hang Seng surge by 457.12 points 1.87% to 24,485.49, Straits Times rose by 18.55 points 0.46% to 4,094.25, Jakarta Composite added by 30.23 points or 0.43% to 7,035.60, Taiwan Weighted enlarged by 27.17 points 0.12% to 22,720.42, Shanghai Composite widened by 36.82 points or 1.04% to 3,546.50, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI higher 4.34 points or 0.28% to 1,540.86.

On the flip side, KOSPI Index down by 1.27 points or 0.04% to 3,181.96.
