Copper futures trade higher in early deals on Monday
Nov-02-2026
Copper futures were trading higher in early deals on Monday, supported by tight global supplies. However, persistent market jitters surrounding tech and AI spending limited further gains in copper prices. Meanwhile market participants turned their attention to high-impact US economic data scheduled for release this week, alongside remarks from several Fed officials that could offer clues regarding the central bank’s upcoming policy path.

Copper futures for December delivery gained $0.03 or 0.46% at $6.5120 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
