Gold futures finish lower as dollar, bonds rise
Oct-06-2026
Gold futures finished lower on Monday, saddled by the strength in dollar and on rising bond yield notes. However, some gains remained trimmed on fading expectations for a Fed rate hike later this month after recent soft US jobs data.

Gold futures for December delivery down by $5.50 or 0.13% to $4,156.80 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold slipped by $10.93 or 0.26% to $4,128.57 an ounce.
