Gold futures finish lower as dollar, bonds strengthens
Sep-15-2026
Gold futures finished lower on Monday, pressured by elevated bond yield notes and a stronger dollar. Additionally, expectations of a Federal Reserve interest rate hike with the heightening global inflation woes and soaring crude oil rates saddled yellow metal investments.

Gold futures for December delivery down by $57 or 1.29% to settle at $4,351.90 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $ 11.45 or 0.27% to $ 4,329.64 an ounce.
