Copper futures end higher on Monday
Aug-26-2026

Copper futures ended higher Tuesday on worries over dwindling LME inventories. Further, copper prices rose as U.S. tariff threats pull metals into America, raising the risk of shortages elsewhere.

Copper futures for September delivery rose $0.109 to settle at $ 6.714 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up by 0.54% at $ 14,349.50 a ton.
