Gold futures finish higher on safe haven appeal

Gold futures finished higher on Tuesday, on account of safe-haven demand ahead of key US inflation data and on geopolitical tensions. Additionally, softer dollar and rising oil prices buoyed the yellow metal rates

Gold futures for December delivery up by $21.40 to 0.48% to settle at $4,441.10 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $28.05 or 0.64% to $ 4,398.16 an ounce.
