ICICI Pru AMC introduces Voluntary Lock-in / Debit freeze facility

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC) has announced addendum to the Statement of Additional Information (‘SAI’) of ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has informed that SEBI vide its circular dated March 06, 2026 read with AMFI Best Practices Guidelines Circular dated April 10, 2026, has introduced Voluntary Lock-in / Debit freeze facility of Mutual Fund folios. The facility is to promote digital security of units of investors held in non-demat (i.e., Statement of Account) and demat mode, and to ensure that no units shall be debited from such folios till the time they are unlocked.

The detailed process of opting for said facility is disclosed on AMC’s website. All the other provisions of SAI, except as specifically modified herein above, remain unchanged. This Notice-cum-Addendum forms an integral part of SAI, as amended from time to time.
