Crude oil futures end lower amid profit booking
Feb-06-2026

After two consecutive sessions of gains, Crude oil futures ended lower on Thursday as traders preferred to book their profit. Besides, upcoming U.S.-Iran talks and ongoing Russia-Ukraine negotiations dragged the prices. The talks between the U.S. and Iran scheduled to be held in Oman later in a day.

Benchmark crude oil futures for March delivery declined $1.85 or 2.84% to settle at $63.29 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for April delivery decreased $1.91 or 2.74% to settle at $67.55 a barrel on London's Intercontinental Exchange.
